Strategi Pengembangan Ecotourism Daya Tarik Wisata Air Terjun Bidadari Ayung Berdasarkan Penerapan Konsep 4a Di Desa Petang Kabupaten Badung

Abstract

In Bali itself natural tourism is a type of tourism that is very popular with both domestic and foreign tourists. Realizing the importance of tourism, it is necessary to apply the concept of ecotourism which is sustainable with the application of sustainable tourism in an effort to preserve the natural resources found in a tourist attraction. The purpose of this study is to determine the potential that can be developed based on the application of the 4A concept at Bidadri Ayung Waterfall through SWOT Analysis and SWOT Matrix to produce alternative strategies and programs obtained based on the results of a combination of internal analysis and external analysis. This research was conducted from September 2022 – June 2023. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques using interviews, observation, literature studies, and documentation. The results of the study show that Bidadari Ayung Waterfall has natural potential that is still beautiful so that it supports the process of developing several program activities that will be carried out such as cycling, trekking and providing eco-enzymes every week in the river flow. However, there are still deficiencies in the available 4A components, such as parking lots, accessibility and ticket booths. Coupled with the still not optimal management system for Human Resources at Bidadari Ayung Waterfall which causes organizational management to be unstructured and creates gaps between communities.
