Abstract

Human resources are the most valuable assets and have a direct influence on associations or agencies. An agency must be driven by good human resources because human resources have a role in an agency to run its business. Some of the ways that can be done in an effort to improve employee performance is to provide work encouragement. The source of the problems discussed in this research are the efforts made, the method of motivation used, and to what extent the level of work motivation at Cuca Restaurant increases employee performance. This research has an achievement, namely to find out the efforts carried out. The method of motivation used, and to what extent the level of work motivation towards Cuca Restaurant. The research methods used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and literature study. Research findings show that efforts to improve employee performance at Cuca Restaurant are by applying work discipline, supervising employee performance, creating a conditioned atmosphere and climate for employees, giving initiative and providing compensation. The provision of work motivation by Cuca Restaurant is 84.3%, which means very good. Even though the implementation of motivation is good, Cuca Restaurant still has a few obstacles in understanding the wishes of employees. Compensation, salary, and communication on the performance of Cuca Restaurant employees have played a 100% role and have helped greatly to increase employee performance. The summary of the results of this research is that 84.3% of Cuca Restaurant motivates employees to work very well. Suggestions for leaders to carry out continuous assessments in improving employee performance for the better.
