Abstract

Efforts in developing a product require a lot of consideration and are based on tourist needs, namely perception and motivation. This study aims to determine the perceptions and motivations of tourists towards the manuaba waterfall in the tourism village of Kenderan, Gianyar. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive by distributing questionnaires to 100 tourists who have visited the manuaba waterfall in the Kenderan tourist village. The data analysis technique used in this study is to test the validity and reliability tests to find out whether the data obtained is valid or not. The results obtained from this study are tourists' perceptions of attractions on average getting good ratings, including the cleanliness of the waterfall, the freshness of the waterfall, and the beauty of the waterfall. Access to get the highest score is the existence of footpaths to make it easier for tourists, the presence of stairs and access to destinations get good marks. Facilities that get the highest score are a large parking area, clean bathrooms, and a place to rest. In addition, the highest scoring facility is available on social media, and there is a signpost. The result of the driving motivation that gets the highest score is to relax yourself while the pulling motivation is a unique waterfall, that means the motivation of tourists to visit refers to the natural beauty that exists in the manuaba waterfall in the Kenderan tourism village.
